Wonderful sky at dawn this morning the 31st July 2015. The photograph was taken by Anthony Sargeant from the bedroom window of his Shropshire home at 5.24 am. The skies at sunrise and sunset can be very beautiful in the gentle rolling landscape of Shropshire.
Tony Sargeant photographed this ancient Yew tree on the footpath along the top of Wenlock Edge near to Wilderhope Manor in Shropshire. Judging by its diameter of about two metres it must be many hundreds of years old. It is a wonderful living thing. Photographed while taking a post lunch walk with our good friend Professor David A Jones.
The photograph was taken from the bedroom window of our Shropshire home at 9.00 am on 2nd December 2014.
English Oak trees dividing two fields in a Shropshire Landscape on a fine summer’s day. The photograph was taken looking west across the field to the side of our home (19th July 2015 at 11.30am)
At about 9.00am I walked across the lane to the field opposite our home and took this photograph – it was a very English summer’s day – fresh and cool clear blue sky and white wisps of cloud scudding across it.
The photograph of sunrise was taken from the bedroom window of his home by Anthony Sargeant at 9.00am in January 2014
This photograph taken from our bedroom window was taken on the 9th January 2014. It shows the flooding across the water meadows below (fortunately below!) our Shropshire home.
